when you wish upon a star..

blogger has made it easier for the html illiterate to spice up their posts so they dont look so boring :)
 
did you know that you can tell which direction is north by looking at the stars? first you look for the southern cross, and then you do some funky perpendicular bisections in the sky and find some crossing point.. ok that didnt make any sense.. my sister's friend was trying to explain it to me but i dont really remember how to do it. i cant even recognise the southern cross.. haha but i kinda know what it looks like from books, so maybe i'll try looking for it on a clear night, which comes by very rarely..
 
astronomy's rather interesting don't you think? i should have read up on it instead of sitting around for the past six months doing nothing.. :)
 
anyway, meeting linda later, feeling a bit lazy actually.. i've been going out every single day for the past week.. and i realised i'm more of a lone shopper.. i prefer shopping alone, but i guess shopping with friends has its merits too: they help restrain my impulses..
 
anyone wanna go bali with me? its $108 for a 2 day 1 night stay at bintan lagoon resort..
$97 for the cheaper resort but i've never been to that one so not sure what its like..
or we could always pay a bomb and go to banyan tree :) ha ha..
