Yanti's blog

Regarding what happened on Yanti's blog, I have 3 things to say.

1) Firstly, if you don't like her that much, why continue reading her blog?! Doesn't make sense really. Don't you have better things to do? Some people really have too much time on their hands.

2) Those taggers on her blog claimed that they did very well for their exams (and thus their need to put other "less smart" people down). Well, that's quite disconcerting actually, cos it totally does not go in line with our PM's vision of an elite society that helps the so-called less fortunate. In fact, these people are going in the direct opposite direction and belittling and looking down on other people who they perceive to be less smart.

3) Their flawed argument: that if somebody makes baseless assumptions about your character, you're just supposed to sit there and let them do it because you know it's not true. To quote a tagger

passerby: lek ah.. if its all not true, den why so worked up? hahahaha..

Well, if it were me, or anybody else for that matter, (unless you are an angel, or have some sort of low-confidence disorder, in which case you'd let these people just walk all over you) I would be quite upset, offended even, that these people would say such things about me when a) they don't even know me and b) it's simply groundless. And of course, I would feel the need to defend myself. It only makes sense. Like DUH!!

And please la, how many people just "happen" to pass by her blog and decide to write horrible things about her? It's obvious you somehow have some sort of personal vendetta against her. If it's about the minah tudung issue, she's already apologised and lek ah, if you're not a minah tudung, why get so upset? ;)
